Getting there
Driving in
Come in through Palaia (about 10 minutes away) rather than the southern road — the southern approach is a rough gravel track. Toiano is 2 minutes away, Montaione about 20.
Shuttle from Florence
A guest shuttle leaves Florence at 13:30 on Monday, October 5 and arrives in time for check-in. If you didn't sign up, a taxi or rental car from Florence takes roughly 75 minutes.
Airports
Florence (FLR) is closest; Pisa (PSA) is about the same drive. Rental cars are easiest to pick up at Florence airport.
On the estate
Everything is walkable but hilly, on gravel paths. Mobile reception is patchy in the woods and there's wifi around the Fattoria and San Michele.
What to wear
Welcome Party · Mon evening
Garden party. Linen, light dresses, loafers. It cools off after sunset — bring a layer.
Wedding Day · Tue
Black tie optional. Men: if you own a tuxedo, wear it — otherwise a dark suit and tie. Women: formal dresses. The ceremony is on grass and gravel in the woods, so block heels or flats over stilettos. Dance party is outdoors on the terrace.
Pool Party · Wed
Swimwear and a cover-up. Bring a towel from your room.
If you need us
A few small things
- Italy uses type F/L plugs and 230V — bring an adapter.
- October evenings in Tuscany drop to around 12°C. A jacket earns its place.
- Bar tabs and extras go to your room and are settled at check-out.
- Please keep phones away during the ceremony — the photographers have it covered.
